Comments: I have a 5 & 6 y.o who are starting on the advanced code now (sh, ch, th, ck) They haven't quite got these down pat, but are sick of reading the stories in the RR book. What do people do when reading "other" books with their kids? I got Hop on Pop from the library because I thought it was a very basic reader, but it still had lots of "things we haven't done yet" (night/fight, house/mouse etc etc) and the kids found it frustrating and too much new info at once. So...are we stuck with just the RR text or is there a better way to get around "things we haven't done yet" in general texts? Thanks. Fiona
