and Required Forms for Those Who Have Already
Completed the One Day Word Work Intership Course
Internship
Programme Requirements:
1. Attend the Word Work One
Day Internship Course: You've already done this, so the hard
part is over!
2. You have one month after completion of the course, to REGISTER as an intern.
3. Complete the following
internship assignments and final examination: Interns may take
three to six months from the date of the Phono-Graphix course to
do the assignments and take the test.
Suggested Timeframe:
Month One: Maintain an
informal journal of your experiences and observations using
Phono-Graphix. This is for you to keep. You will not turn it in
to Read America.
Month Two: Print out our
observation form (top below). Invite another teacher to
observe you and you observe her/him using Phono-Graphix.
Meet to discuss your observations and the experiences
recorded in your journal. Complete an intern observation
form for one another and submit the observation comments
for one another via the online submission link (bottom below).

Have your observer submit your observation online.
Month Three: Complete the
Phono-Graphix written examination no sooner than three months
after the date of your one day course, but no later than six
months.
Once you've completed the other steps log on to take the FINAL EXAM online.
Throughout this period you have full access to Read America for support as needed via
RAchat@aol.com.
* If an intern has not
returned his/her test within six months his/her name will be
purged from our internship registry.
